Level 6 – A. Biographical principles
Early old age
Senior activism
Age period: 60 to 72 years.
The body begins to exhibit diminished capability, while memory declines and attributes such as wisdom, gentleness, and sovereignty increase. Gradually, we experience the loss of loved ones and inspirational figures, assuming some of their mentorship roles.
Professionally, we begin to step back from active working life, completing our final board positions and shifting focus towards voluntary contributions and advisory roles. This period often witnesses the emergence of “senior activism” and radical visions for social renewal, as careers are no longer at risk of damage. Immune to coercion or blackmail, our actions stem not from youthful indignation but from a serene sense of duty fulfilment.
In our personal lives, we dedicate ourselves to serving children, grandchildren, or other members of our community. Partner relationships evolve into more ethereal connections, assuming new, often socially-oriented functions (such as entering into a fifth marriage).
In Bitcoin-Leadership this represents the lower time preference that accompanies healthy old age. However, younger individuals can also adopt this form of long-term thinking. Rebellion and activism at this level are less personal and more principle-oriented, making participation in societal transformation a natural extension of a Bitcoiner’s life journey.
