Level 5. Complexity
What is it?
Complexity refers to a level of maturity where individuals can endure and navigate complicated interdependencies and complex ambivalences. They develop the capacity to think in terms of complex dynamic systems and oversee and co-direct large organisations. At this stage, a systemic therapeutic awareness emerges, allowing individuals to understand recurring themes across multiple generations. This level of consciousness demands intelligence to comprehend complex connections, as well as moral maturity and courage to make decisions aligned with one’s conscience and heart, particularly challenging in positions of power and influence.
In Bitcoin-Leadership this corresponds to a time preference spanning five to ten years. Individuals recognise the complexity of the world economy and politics without transcending it. They may spend many hours studying each day or hold leadership positions within organisations or networks that embrace complex systems thinking. It’s akin to Michael Saylor’s perspective that inflation cannot be simplified into a single number but must be understood as a vector of various contributing factors.
