Level 3 – A. Biographical principles

Early adulthood
From study to our early working years

Age period: 24 to 36 years.

The transition from adolescent tribal affiliation to adult professional specialisation represents a significant shift. As hormones stabilise, the phase of youthful non-commitment gives way to a focus on professional pursuits. Ideally, this period also signifies the maturity to enter stable relationships, symbolised by the first (stage of) marriage, often initiated through cohabitation. Over time, partners rediscover each other, reducing mutual projections and leading to the second (stage of) marriage. The arrival of children introduces further changes, including navigating relationships with in-laws and rekindling bonds with one’s parents. Physical ageing, compounded by the demands of child-rearing, work pressure, and stress, becomes evident.

In Bitcoin-Leadership this stage is characterised by a relatively high time preference for short-term success. It embodies the initial phase of “you come for the greed, and you stay for the revolution.” While crucial for establishing personal wealth and social status, lingering too long in this mindset can be constraining and even perilous. Over-identification with success can reinforce latent narcissism, a common pitfall among Bitcoin influencers, necessitating considerable time and effort to overcome, if at all.
