Level 2 – A. Biographical principles

Puberty and adolescence
Basic urges become higher motives

Age period: 12 to 24 years.

It is the time of detachment and separation from one’s educators. Infatuation and friendship gain depth. The body undergoes a new growth spurt and makes the young adolescent alternately deeply tired and hyper-energised. Sexuality awakens, experiences of attraction, as well as rejection and heartbreak are starting. Physical, intellectual and artistic excellence become important, if only for heightening attractiveness for a future mate.
The body becomes fit for reproduction and unconsciously prepares for it. This places a great responsibility on the shoulders of the children that are growing into adulthood. To learn to handle their new abilities, adolescents seek challenges, kicks and trials.
During this period, we learn to delay gratification, bridge longer time spans, and pay a price to satisfy our desires, such as working hard for exams or sporting achievements. Urges become drives and motives.
Pubescents become adolescents.

In Bitcoin-Leadership this level is an important source of energy. The adolescent in us can feel intense indignation or anger towards injustice. We need to train ourselves to ‘ride the tiger’: allow the animal in us to be strong and fierce, but to direct it.
By allowing ourselves to feel the excitement when Bitcoin surges or the fear when it collapses, we can train our self-control and reach higher levels of consciousness.
