Level 1 – E. Identity
Survival and environment
Pure and simple
The identity is still simple, family-centred and dependent on educators and environment: I am my parents’ child, I live in that street and I am at school there. I am what they say about me. I depend on them for my survival.
Key Questions
From the child’s perspective:
• Who am I? Whose child am I?
• What do my parents and immediate family think of me?
• What is allowed?
• How can I avoid punishment?
• What are my needs now?
In retrospect:
• How were my needs met in my childhood?
• What part of my personality did I take with me genetically or karmically, and how does that interact with my upbringing?
• Was I once pure and simple? If so, how do I reconnect with that part of myself?
• How did my unique spirit express itself in my early years?
In Bitcoin-Leadership this is the most basic identity. Being connected to our inner child will help us be interested in our family history. What were the right things my parents did to me as a child? How is that behaviour rooted in the generational cycles? What went wrong during my childhood? What were family specific factors that I need to bring to closure? What are typical symptoms of this age?
