Level 0 – G. Religious Experience
Pre-rational / Litteral
Undiluted medication
Religious experience at this primal level is immediate, unreflective, and imbued with a sense of totality, magic, and unconscious connection. Archetypes and myths are perceived as literal truths, often revealing deeper insights than everyday reality. This intuitive knowledge must eventually be reconciled with rational thinking at higher levels.
This form of religious experience can be likened to potent medication—potentially beneficial or harmful. In tightly knit societies close to nature, individuals may navigate this realm with relatively low risk. However, in more fragmented societies, such undiluted myth can lead to psychosis or other disruptions.
Exploring these sources of power demands careful preparation and thorough debriefing. Carl Jung noted the intensity of this mythical experience, suggesting that institutionalised religion serves as a buffer against direct encounters with the divine.
In Bitcoin-Leadership, this highlights the inherent human longing for religious connection. This need must be addressed, whether through traditional religious practices or immersive experiences with archetypes, games, archetypal memes and narratives.
